the first was painted on ps using a drawing i did in figure class this semester.

the second is based on a small event that happened a few days ago. a squirrel followed me around.

Meet Mufu

Meet Mufu, the mouse. I will be animating him for the next month or so. 

He isn't your average house mouse, but I'll let you find that out later in his adventures.

I've included some process work I went through to design him so you can see how he developed.

Digital painting

This is my first try painting digitally from observation. Took me 50 minutes. Had to rush †through it as the lighting was constantly changing. Nice experience though. Hope i can do this more often.

Meet EPMuT, the mutated tiger

This is an ongoing character design, three dimensional character exploration project for my traditional 3d design class. the first part is to design a fully realized character with personality. the second part is to sculpt 3 facial expressions in the form of a bar relief. the third part is to sculpt the character in an informative pose, making and placing it in an environment to convey narrative.

my design is highly influenced by the designs of Chris Sanders, director, Lilo and stitch, how to train your dragon and the croods.

The tiger's name is EPMuT 1. Acronym for 

Experimental Prototype Mutated Tiger Version 1.0
